Magical Boston Beans, Books & A Badger Tale

Allow us to introduce you to the wonderful Suzanne Lucey, our favorite neighborhood independent book store owner and just an all-around lovely person!  In this episode, we begin our story with Suzanne’s family in Canada.  We travel down the Hudson for a bit and almost out to sea where we land in the mysterious and magical Salem, Massachusetts where Suzanne grew up.

The fun doesn’t stop there.  In the early 2000’s, Suzanne and her family moved to Wake Forest, North Carolina where she began a cool new chapter as the owner of Page 158 Books.  A charismatic lady, Suzanne has grown her business into a place where all are welcome and entertained.  From her French-Canadian roots all the way to her latest Southern adventure, Suzanne is one interesting story after another so join us as we chat with her here on Everyday Macaroni the podcast!

Make sure you check out Page 158 Books to find your latest read or to check out their events and to see who is playing in the Listening Room.  You can swing by and have lunch at The Lemon Tree or you can go to https://www.page158books.com/ and get the latest scoop!

Don’t forget, we are so excited to share our stage with anyone who has a family story, recipe or memory to share so let us know if you are interested in being on our show.  You can comment, DM, email us or call the macaroni fun phone and we’ll make it happen!  We can’t wait to hear from you!
