Imagine you are on a train in rural North Carolina in 1929.  In the seat next to you, someone holds a blue eyed, blonde haired female infant.  You don’t often hear of infants on trains and you marvel at the luxury of a child traveling in that day and age.  Little do you know that the baby is going to her new home where she will grow up realizing she does not fit in with her dark eyed, dark haired, adoptive family.  The tale does end there!  To hear the rest of the story, tune in to our latest podcast episode where the one and only Cheryl McGhee tells us the story of how this little girl came to be adopted from the south in 1929.
